- Binding: Medieval binding, not contemporary (16th century, second half). - Leather (brown, blind tooled) over wooden boards with edges bevelled on the inside. Decorated with roll-stamps. Two clasp fastenings (closing back to front, one strap replaced). - Spine renewed (19th century).

Origin: Under debate. Based on the dialect it would be the northern part of Holland, yet the decoration is from the southern part. Possibly written in the northern part and decorated in the southern part of Holland.
Foliation: Old scribal foliation in red ink: I-CLXVII (= ff. 9-175).
Textual: Dutch translation of the Gospels by Johannes Scutken. - The manuscript could be used as an evangeliary.
