- Abbaye fondée en 1130 par Henri I, comte d'Eu, qui s'y fit moine et y mourut en 1139. D'abord bénédictine, l'abbaye fut rattachée en 1147 à l'ordre de Cîteaux en entrant dans la congrégation de Savigny. Le pape Innocent III la prit sous sa protection. Jusqu'à la Révolution, l'abbaye fut florissante (Source : BnF)
