    • Première fille de Cîteaux, cette abbaye fut fondée en 1113 par saint Etienne Harding pour servir d'exutoire à l'abbaye mère, trop chargée de novices. Les deux abbayes connurent de graves différends. La descendance de La Ferté comprend 16 monastères. Il y restait 12 religieux en 1768. Fermée à la Révolution, son dernier abbé fut guillotiné en 1793 (Source : BnF)
