Origine: italienne, écriture humanistique ronde, deux mains: 1) f. 1-170; 2) f. 171-390. Le copiste des f. 171-390°, Leonardo de Aurientina, signe et date au f. 390: «Titto [sic] Liuio Patauino Historiografo preclarissimo finem imposui Ego Leonardus de Aurientina tercia Iulii anno domini 1472 ».
Possesseurs: Marc-Antoine Muret († 1585); le Collège des Jésuites de Rome, dont l'ex-libris en partie gratté est au f. 1: «‹Collegii Romani Soc. Iesu› Catalo. Inscript. ex bibliotheca Mureti »; le manuscrit a été donné à la Bibliothèque Vaticane par Pie X en 1912.
