• This explanation of, or commentary, on the Bible book Leviticus was written by Raoul of Flaix (Radulfus Flaviacensis), a mid-twelfth-century Benedictine monk. The text is incomplete: only the first ten of in total twenty books are contained in this manuscript (cf. Ms. 18), and of these books several folia are missing. The absence of a cross-shaped stamp of Ten Duinen on the last leaf might suggest that the losses postdate the seventeenth century. Possibly this text was written in the scriptorium of Ten Duinen. The text is written in two columns, with initials in red and blue, and dates to roughly the first quarter of the thirteenth century. The volume is bound in modern calf. [Summary by Dr. Mark Vermeer]
