  • Le cartulaire est rédigé dans la première moitié du XVe siècle, ce que constate la transcription faite le 15 juillet 1438 d'un acte d'acquisition faite par Robert Jolivet, abbé du monastère du Mont Saint-Michel (1410-1444) d'un hôtel ou manoir assis sur la chaussée de Bretteville avec ses dépendances, moyennant la somme de 425 livres tournois.
