- Binding: Medieval binding, not contemporary (16th century). - Leather (brown, blind-tooled) on wooden boards (reused). Decorated with roll-stamps (Fides, Spes, Fortitudo, Caritas). Double spine covering ("dos préservateur") nailed along the spine with two vertical metal strips. Two clasp fastenings (closing back to front, straps and hooks renewed). Metal bosses (2x5, one on back board renewed ). Metal strips and corner pieces (2x4) nailed to board edges. - Bookblock resewn; spine, "dos préservateur" and corners renewed.
