- Binding: Post-medieval binding. - Conservation binding (2001): vellum covering (with turned edges) over new parchment endleaves (sewn with the bookblock) and alum-tawed leather spine; bookblock sewn on five supports, laced-in; two (oriental) peg-and-frost fastenings. - According to Gumbert 2009, the old flyleaves and those in ms. Valenciennes 160 were part of a 9th-century manuscript of Virgil's Georgica.
