Origine: française, assez grosse écriture à peine brisée.
Possesseurs: quelques notes marginales, notamment aux f. 1 et 110 v° semblent de la main de Pierre Pithou († 1596) qui aurait pu consulter le manuscrit chez Paul Petau (?) ; Paul Petau (cote R. 51 rognée, au f. I) ; Alexandre Petau (cote 1156 au dos de la reliure); Reine Christine de Suède (cote 986 au dos de la reliure).
