HISTOIRE DU MANUSCRIT. Manuscrit provenant de la bibliothèque des rois aragonais de Naples: anciennne cote en haut du f. 1, "iiiixx ix". Il est décrit dans le catalogue alphabétique de la bibliothèque de Fontainebleau sous l'entrée "ΣΥΓΚΕΛΛΟΣ Β" (v. Omont, Catalogues des manuscrits grecs de Fontainebleau sous François Ier et Henri II, p. 156). Cette description reprend la brève notice inscrite sur le premier folio de garde par Constantin Palaeocappa: + Μιχαὴλ τοῦ Συγγέλου περὶ συντάξεως. / + ἱστορίαι καὶ ἀπορίαι καὶ ἑρμηνεῖαι εἰς τὴν Ὁμήρου Ἰλιάδα μέχρι τοῦ λ΄.
