Origine: italienne, élégante écriture humanistique ronde. La décoration est l’œuvre de Gioacchino de Gigantibus qui travailla à Rome du temps de Paul II (cf. Ruysschaert, op. cit. infra).
Possesseurs: Marco Barbo († 1491) dont les armes, surmontées de la mitre épiscopale, sont peintes ou repeintes au bas du f. 1 (cf. supra, Ottob. lat. 1553 et 1944); les gloses marginales sont de la main de l’humaniste Ludovicus Regius d’Imola (fin XVe s. - cf. Ruysschaert, op. cit. infra); Giovanni Angelo duc d’Altemps (ex-libris au f. I); le cardinal P. Ottoboni (cote de Bianchini: S. 7. 35).
