Origine: française, grosse écriture régulière.
Possesseurs: on lit au f. 55 v° le seing manuel avec paraphe d’un certain Petrus Johan.: «signetum manuale magistri Petri Johan.» (semi-cursive du XVe s.) ; Reine Christine de Suède, au f. 1 croix au crayon rouge des manuscrits «non Petauiani» (cote 1847 au f. 1). Le manuscrit était autrefois réuni aux mss. Reg. lat. 1565 (cf. supra) et 420 qui portent aussi la cote 1847, on lit au f. 70 v° ce titre: «Marci Tullii Ciceronis de sompnio Scipionis Afïricani» (XVe s., peut-être de la main de Petrus Johan.) qui correspond au début du ms. Reg. lat. 1565.
