expl. mutilé: «... est tamen quando auctoritas prepostere his utitur //» (XVI, 16 - éd. Hertz, 2, p. 104, l. 19).
Origine: vraisemblablement française, écritures gothiques primitives.
Possesseurs: au f. 1 marge supérieure, les initiales en lettres gothiques du XIIIe s.: «H A», sont peut-être celles d’un possesseur; la note de 1545 concernant la reliure (refaite du temps de Pie IX) inscrite au bas du f. 240 v°: «Costa la legatura Iul‹ii› 2/A di X de Febraro 1545» démontre que le manuscrit a appartenu au cardinal Marcello Cervini selon Mercati, op. cit. infra, p. 137, 139, 246; peut-être le cardinal Sirleto (correspondrait au n° «gram. 5, 7 ou 9(?)» de son catalogue, Vat. lat. 6163, f. 311 v°).
