D’après une note presque effacée, du XIVe s. inscrite en travers dans la marge du f. 1 le manuscrit appartenait alors aux Célestins de Lyon ou à leur prieur Jean de Gamba: «Iste liber fuit concessus fratri Iohanni de Gamba priori Celestinorum Lugd‹uni› sub sedula sua que reddatur celestinis predictis si rep‹erie›tur»; Reine Christine de Suède (correspond au n° 1530 du catalogue de Montfaucon).
