  • Inhalt: a collection of 48 texts - copies of state letters, memoranda, speeches, etc - relating to Spain, mostly dating from the second half of the sixteenth century (a few earlier; the last dated 1605), and mostly concerning the relations of Spain with the papacy and other Italian states and with Flanders, including also a few non-political items such as the long letter of the painter Federigo Zuccaro describing the Escorial in 1586 (ff 387-398b)
