  • Parch., Xe-XIe s., sauf f. 49-55 refaits au XVe s., IV + 130 ff. selon la nouvelle numérotation, 260 x 190 mm. Le manuscrit était destiné à être entièrement illustré d’après les emplacements laissés en blanc, seuls les f. 9 v° et 10 portent des scènes reproduisant assez grossièrement des illustrations du ms. Vat. lat. 3868. Nombreuses gloses marginales et interlinéaires contemporaines tirées en partie du commentaire d’Eugraphius.

  • Origine: française, sauf les f. 49-55 v° d’une écriture humanistique italienne. Le manuscrit a été copié d’après le ms. Vat. lat. 3868, après correction de celui-ci, par Iterius pour un monastère dédié à saint Pierre, peut-être Corbie, et son patron (abbé ?) Rainardus, d’après la souscription en vers du f. 130 v°, écrite en capitales rehaussées de rouge:

  • Possesseurs: rien ne prouve que le manuscrit ait appartenu au cardinal Orsini. Il correspond sans doute au «Terentius antiqus [sic] postillatus» de l’inventaire des manuscrits de S. Pietro de 1454.
