    وبعد فقد أدركنا أسلافنا المتقدمين أكثر ما يتوانسون به في مجالسهم ذكر الصحابة والصالحين رضي الله عنهم ورحمهم ثم ذكر أشياخ بلادهم وملوكها وسيرهم وقصصهم وأبنائهم وأيامهم ووفياتهم وهو أحلى ما يروون وأشهى ما يتذاكرون

    Explicit (f. 211) :

    منهم ثلاثمأية رجالا وزيادة بعون الله وقوته فولوا مدبرين خائبين خاسئين أهلكه الله ودمره تدميرا وتبره تتبيرا وأراح العباد والبلاد منه بمنه وكرمه امين ... تعلى كمل ووفى وكان الفراغ من تعليقه يوم السبت ... وعشرين من جمادى الأولى عام السادس بعد المأتين والألف كويتبه الفقير لرحمة مولاه الغني عن ما سواه ...ونسخته للفع الحاج بن والحمد لله رب العالمين
