Origine: française, écriture bâtarde régulière. La signature rubriquée: «Monfaut», avec paraphe, qu’on lit à la suite du texte, f. 151, est peut-être celle du copiste.
Possesseurs: Jean Courtecuisse, évêque de Paris (1420-1422), puis de Genève († 1423) légua le manuscrit à Notre-Dame de Paris d’après la note du f. 151: «Dominus Jo. Breuis coxe legauit ecclesie Paris‹iensi›», il correspond au n° 40 de son catalogue; Paul Petau (cote Q. 19 au f. 1) ; Alexandre Petau (cote 665 ? au dos de la reliure) ; Reine Christine de Suède (cote 271 au dos de la reliure).
