  • C. Brockelmann mentionne ce manuscrit (Suppl. I, 604) mais en se fondant sur l'identification erronée par W. M. G. de Slane de Abū al-Maḥāsin Yūsuf avec un personnage vivant à l'époque fatimide (voir G. Vajda, JA, 1952). L'auteur pourrait être Taqī al-Dīn Abū al-Faḍl Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Ibn Fahd al-Hāšimī (787 h. / 1385 - 871 h. / 1466) (GAL, Suppl. II 225, 1b) ou son fils ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad Ibn Fahd al-Makkī al-Aṯarī (812h. / 1409 - 885 h. / 1480) (GAL, Suppl. II 225, 2)

    Copie anonyme, dédiée à Abū al-Maḥāsin Yūsuf, haut fonctionnaire égyptien, mise au net à La Mecque en 855 de l'hégire (f. 97 v.) dans la demeure de l'auteur et, d'après une note en marge du fol. 97 v, collationnée avec l'intervention de ce dernier (corriger de Slane cf. Journal asiatique, Paris, 1822, article cité).
