Origine: italienne, écriture humanistique ronde. Souscription datée au f. 115: «Explicit opus philippicarum die XXma quarta mensis aprilis hora causarum de mane anno a natiuitate domini Millesimo quadringentesimo sexagesimo».
Possesseurs: peut-être le cardinal Sirleto (correspondrait au n° 180 de son catalogue Vat. lat. 6163, f. 320, qui peut correspondre aussi au ms. Ottob. lat. 1992, cf. infra); le cardinal P. Ottoboni (cote de Bianchini: V. 6. 51).
