Origine: italienne, écriture humanistique ronde. Le copiste est Paolo Pulidori, qui signe au f. 170: «Paulus ser Pulidori scrisse».
Possesseurs: au f. 170 v°, note de donation à un couvent non précisé datée de 1460, en partie grattée et lue aux rayons ultra-violets: «Librum istum epistolarum Ciceronis qui emerunt iidem hoc pacto concesserunt librarie conuentus, ut extra conuentum cuiquam accomodare nullo modo possint fratres: quod si secus fecerint ipso iure libro isto priuentur. 1460 pridie Kalendas augusti»; le cardinal Barberini (n° antico 1410).
