  • Le ms. a été copié en France, et bien que J. Vezin (1990, p. 62) se demandait, sans expliciter les éléments qui ont motivé sa réflexion, s'il ne pouvait pas provenir de l'abbaye Saint-Germain-des-Prés, le ms. ne porte aucun indice décisif pouvant confirmer cette provenance. Il a été en possession d'Aymar de Ranconnet (c. 1499-1559). Suite à son décès, ses biens furent saisis (voir notice du ms. BnF latin 7730). La plupart ont été vendus au bénéfice de ses enfants encore mineurs, à l'exception d'une cinquantaine de mss. qui furent saisis par la bibliothèque du roi parmi lesquels celui-ci (Bibliothèque du roi à Fontainebleau [Paris n° 1484]). Depuis lors, il ne quitta plus cette bibliothèque et figure dans tous ses inventaires.
