Copie anonyme, achevée au mois de ḏū l-Qaʿda 547 de l'hégire (f. 270 v).
Le manuscrit a appartenu à Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Kawṯar, qui fut, avec son fils, l'artisan de la diffusion de ce texte en Andalousie (f. 2) ; acte de waqf au profit d'al-Ǧāmiʿ al-ǧadīd à Azbakiyya au Caire (f. 13) ; nombreux samāʿ-s [cf. VAJDA (G.), Les Certificats de lecture, VIII, 13] (cf. 1-2, 270 v-272 v). — Une notice de de Slane.
Entré à la Bibliothèque royale en 1836. Provient de la collection de Jean-Jacques Caussin de Perceval.
