17r Gabriele Simeoni, horoscope d’élection pour le couronnement de Charles IX (dressé pour le 16 juin 1561), avec un court texte : «Ascendentis Librae, et octavae domina Venus cum Luna in XI, partiliter constituta. Regis horoscopus Cancer cum Sole XI domino culminans ab infortunisque liber, Luna regni domina in domo Solis, et Sol in domo Lunae a Iove et Marte feliciter irradiatus, quid sibi velint bonique portenderint, dicat qui sapit » . L’horoscope accompagne une lettre en italien (f. 16r) adressée le 31 mai 1561 à Catherine de Médicis, dans laquelle Gabriele Simeoni dit qu’il ne saurait se trouver meilleure date pour le couronnement. Il ignorait que Charles IX avait été couronné deux semaines auparavant, le 15 mai 1561.
