L'ex-libris très effacé du f. 1 semble pouvoir se lire : « Liber sancte Marie Vallis Lucentis » (abbaye de Vauluisant, diocèse de Sens). Le manuscrit correspond au n° 40 du catalogue des manuscrits de Vauluisant dressé en 1680 (Latin 10395, 236).Ce manuscrit a, par la suite, appartenu à Jean-Baptiste Colbert.
