  • Manuscript 175, dating back to the fourteenth century, contains commentary on books 1 and 2 of Sententiae by Peter Lombard (c. 1095 - c.1160). The commentaries are in the form of lectures held in 1307-1308 by Durandus of Saint-Pourçain (c. 1275 - 1334). The codex came from a Parisian commercial workshop. The document contains decorated initials. The initial on Folio 1 is placed on a golden background, with tendrils along the length of the folio. Other initials have a blue or red background. The front and back cover page contain pen drawings of a veronical with the arma christi, choristers around a lectern, a dog on a chain, a sword and a sceptre. [Summary by Sarah Vanroye]
