    • Alchimiste. - Son nom n'est attesté que par l'édition de la compilation alchimique Aureum vellus (La Toison d'or) parue à la fin du XVIe siècle (Rorschach am Bodensee, 1598-1599). Dans le premier traité de ce livre, il dit avoir commencé son initiation à l'alchimie en 1473, mais aucun autre renseignement ne vient appuyer cette donnée supposément autobiographique (Source : BnF)
