B..L ANTOINE FONTANON, natif d'Auvergne, Advocat au parlement de Paris. Il a traduit de Latin en François, la pratique de Masuere ancien J. C. & l'a enrichie d'annotations, imprimee à Paris chez Nivelle l'an 1576. Il a recueilly, & mis par ordre, les edicts, ordonnances, & statuts des Roys de France depuis le regne du Roy S. Loys l'an 1270. jusques au present. Le tout reduit en quatre gros volumes imprimez à Paris chez Nicolas Chesneau l'an 1580. Il florist à Paris cette annee 1584.
