B. L. C. DE BLOCKLAND, natif de Montfort en Hollande, excellent musicien. Il a escrit en François une instruction de Musique, imprimee à Lyon chez Jean de Tournes l'an 1573. par cette instruction lon peult facilement apprendre la Musique-pratique sans aucune Gamme, ou sans la main. Il florissoit l'an 1571.
