B. L. BERTHELEMY DU POIX Gascon, natif d'Aux pres Tolose, homme docte és langues, & sur tout en la Chaldee. Il s'appelle autrement, de Beau Poix, dit en Latin, à pulchro pondere. Il a traduit de langue Chaldee en François les Sentences de Ben Syra, neveu du prophete Hieremie, lesquelles il a enrichies d'annotations &c. imprimees à Angers, chez René Picquenot l'an 1559. Apodixie pour la Messe. Il florissoit à Angers audict an 1559.
