    Abstract:
    Bei diesem spätmittelalterlichen Messingeinband aus dem Augustinerchorherrenstift St. Nikola bei Passau handelt es sich um ein Pendant zum Einband von Clm 16003. Die aus getriebenem vergoldetem Messing modellierte Figur im Mittelfeld weist einen Kopf aus Bergkristall auf, der an die Verwendung antiker Spolien denken lässt. // Autor: Caroline Smout // Datum: 2017
