Copie anonyme et non datée, exécutée à la demande de Paul Astoin Sielve, interprète au Caire, qui traduisit ce manuscrit en 1733 et offrit le volume et sa traduction au comte de Maurepas, ministre et secrétaire d'Etat de la Marine (ms Arabe 1559, f. E-I).
Provient du Fonds des traductions. - Sarlawḥ formé d'un triangle flanqué de deux demi-triangles à bords polylobés, décor floral sur fond doré (f. 1v).
