CHARLES UTENHOVE, natif de la ville de Gand en Flandres, homme tres-docte és langues, autresfois Precepteur des trois doctes filles de Jean de Morel, gentil-homme Ambrunois ou d'Ambrun en Provence sçavoir est de Camille, Lucresse & Diane. Il a escrit plusieurs Epitaphes en vers François, sur la mort de Henry 2. Roy de France, imprimez à Paris chez Robert Estienne l'an 1560. Il a peu escrire plusieurs autres ouvrages en notre langue, (outre ceux qu'il a composez en Grec & en Latin) desquels je n'ay pas cognoissance. Il florissoit à Paris l'an 1560.
