LAVRENT DE PREMIER, estimé for grand Orateur pour son temps. Il a traduit de Latin en François les oeuvres de Seneque, imprimees à Paris par Antoine Verard. Il a traduit de Latin en François le livre de Jean Bocace Florentin traictant des Nobles malheureux, contenant 9. livres, imprimé à Paris chez Michel le Noir l'an 1515. Il a traduit le Decameron, ou cent Nouvelles de Jean Bocace, autrement intitulé le Prince Galiot, imprimé à Paris l'an 1485. lequel livre a esté depuis traduit en François par Jean le Maçon, & imprimé à Lyon & à Paris. Il florissoit du temps de Charles 8. l'an 1483.
